Why we built provenance in from day one
When we started, provenance was going to be a nice-to-have in a settings menu. Then it became obvious it was the whole product.
The human touch, written down
A released song made with AI raises a fair question: what did the person actually do? Dugatto answers it with a timeline — references chosen, style compiled, name-safety passed, lyrics rewritten, versions saved. Not marketing copy. A record.
Safe by default, not by hope
Name-safety runs automatically and flags real-artist names before they can ship. Green means clear. It's one check you never have to remember to run.
Provenance is surfaced at the end, as a capstone — so it stays out of your way while you're creating, and it's right there when you're ready to release.
